Manta Point ( 90% see manta ray )
Manta Point is one of the best places for divers to encounter manta rays in Bali. This renowned dive site features two cleaning stations—one at approximately 20 meters deep and another in shallow waters around 7 meters.
Here, reef mantas (Manta alfredi) and occasionally oceanic mantas (Manta birostris) visit the rocky reef areas to allow smaller fish to clean parasites from their skin. Manta Point remains one of the world’s top locations for manta encounters because the mantas are highly accustomed to divers. For especially lucky divers, Manta Point can also offer sightings of the elusive Mola ramsayi (Southern Ocean sunfish), the largest bony fish in the ocean, particularly during the colder months from June to October.

Crystal Bay Nusa Penida , one of its most recognizable features is the small rocky island offshore, which adds a dramatic backdrop—especially during sunset, when the sky lights up in warm colors and reflects across the bay. Thanks to its accessibility and beauty, Crystal Bay is often included in snorkeling and island tours around Nusa Penida, making it a must-visit stop for both adventure and relaxation.

Wall Point, Nusa Penida is one of the most beginner-friendly snorkeling spots around Nusa Penida, especially on the northern coast where conditions are usually calmer.
What makes it special is its dramatic vertical coral wall, which drops down into deeper water while still offering a shallow reef area—perfect for relaxed snorkeling without needing advanced skills. The visibility is often excellent, allowing you to clearly enjoy the underwater scenery.

Manta Bay is a shallow coastal area characterized by rocky coral formations and nutrient-rich currents that attract large amounts of plankton—the primary food source for manta rays. These gentle giants, with wingspans reaching up to 5 meters (16 feet), regularly visit the bay to feed and occasionally to be cleaned by smaller fish.

Unlike many dive sites where manta rays stay at deeper depths, Manta Bay is relatively shallow (around 5–12 meters), allowing you to observe them clearly even while snorkeling at the surface. This makes it one of the rare places in the world where you can experience swimming alongside manta rays without the need for scuba diving equipment. Very ideal for beginner
